I read about the Romans. It said that they invaded Britain when the Celts ruled it. Only the boys went to school, poorer children and girls SOMETIMES got taught at home but mostly just helped do the work. -Katie
I read about the Romans.In the Romans time the family would put their babies at the dads feet and if the dad ignore the baby it would be taken away to be killed.If the dad realized the baby it would live.
we went to the roman site. and what we learned was....
that the baths had hot and cold pools, towels, steam rooms, saunas, exercise rooms, and hair cutting salons.
we also had learned that generally, romans would go to the unctuarium where they had oil rubbed onto their skin and then they would exercise in one of their exercise yards.
also.....
at one time, there was as many as 900 public in acient rome. small ones held about 300 people, and the big ones held about 1500 people or more!!! some roman hospitals even had there own bathhouses!!!

We explored ancient Egypt an learned that the fertile soil helps the farmers' harvest.
The Egyptians grew wheat and barley.They used the barley to make beer which they stored in clay beer jars.
